BRAŇO KOSTKA
I spent my childhood in a small village Láb in the west of Slovakia. That's why I have the typical village look. Most probably my love to music started when listening to a radio sports program, where they used to play the song: "Blue is the colour, football is the game". However I often preferred playing the football than playing the piano. And that was the reason why I could go to study only music conductor studies at conservatoire, because there was no need for precise piano skills. Little I knew that time, that music conductor studies are the most difficult of music studies. They are based on individual studies, so I was forced to study music properly and full time. I started singing a cappella during my studies with my schoolmates. Mostly we performed under our girlfriends' windows at moonlight when coming home from pub. The repertoire and quality of the performance then were equal to our mood gained after few drinks in the pub. But I really enjoyed it and I'm truly happy that after being through many various music genres I managed to put together people, who share with me the passion for a cappella singing.
